Man arrested, woman sought after vehicle rolls over, hits bus shelter in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a man and are looking for a woman after a vehicle crashed into a bus shelter in Kitchener on Wednesday.

Police first reported the collision on Twitter at around noon, saying that they were one scene at Spadina and Highland roads.

A police spokesperson told Global News that the vehicle had flipped over before hitting a bus shelter

No injuries were reported as a result.

Emerson in Bozeman hosted a virtual jingle dress contest for Indigenous women

Shundiin Whitehorse, 16, filmed her entry for a virtual jingle dress dance contest in just one take an hour before the deadline.

For Shundiin, multiple attempts at the traditional dance were not an option, as she filmed her entry in negative 35-degree weather in Saskatchewan, Canada.

In conjunction with its new art exhibit honoring missing and murdered Indigenous women, the Emerson Arts and Culture Center in Bozeman hosted a virtual red jingle dress contest on Jan. 22-24. The jingle dress dance is popular among Native women and girls and is often performed at powwows as a healing dance.

Influencer Bretman Rock says separate clothing for men and women ‘shouldn’t even really be a thing’

Speaking with Insider on Tuesday, Rock said he began shifting his focus away from the beauty industry – and its surplus of drama – in 2020. In doing so, according to the influencer, he’s been able to focus more on fashion, partnering with Stella McCartney, Paco Rabanne, and the shopping app Klarna within the past year.

In the future, however, Rock wants to take things even further.

“I really wanna switch up the gender labels of freakin’ fashion,” he told Insider.
